Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • 6 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 cups chopped bok choy or napa cabbage
  • 12 frozen potstickers (pork, chicken, or veggie)
  • green onions, chopped
  • fresh cilantro (optional for garnish)
  • lime wedges, for serving

Instructions
 

  • Heat sesame and olive oil in a large pot. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour in broth, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and chili garlic sauce. Bring to a gentle simmer, then add frozen potstickers. Cook uncovered for 6-8 minutes, until they float.
  • Add carrots and bok choy. Simmer until just tender, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in green onions and more soy sauce to taste. Adjust seasonings as needed.
  • Ladle into bowls. Top with cilantro, a squeeze of lime, and optional chili oil or sesame seeds.

Notes

Store broth and dumplings separately for best texture. Garnish with lime, cilantro, or chili oil as desired.
