Fruit

  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced

Cheese & Extras

  • 1/2 cup creamy goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced (optional) Optional for added flavor

Dressing

  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze

Seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Rinse and dry the spring mix and strawberries; pat them dry so the dressing sticks.
  • Slice the strawberries and thinly slice the red onion if using.

Assembly

  • In a large salad bowl, add the 4 cups spring mix greens.
  • Top the greens with the sliced strawberries, crumbled goat cheese, and red onion.
  • Drizzle the 1/4 cup balsamic glaze over the salad and season with salt and pepper.
  • Toss gently to coat everything evenly, then serve immediately.

Notes

Dry ingredients thoroughly after washing to prevent a soggy salad. Add the balsamic glaze sparingly at first; you can always add more to taste. Keep dressing and delicate toppings separate if making ahead for up to a day. Serve immediately after tossing to preserve texture and color. Swap in a firmer berry or extra nuts for more bite.
