Ingredients

  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • A pinch of salt optional

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to your slow cooker.
  • Whisk everything together, especially the cocoa powder and cream, until mostly blended.
  • Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes so nothing sticks.
  • Once the chocolate is fully melted and velvety smooth, switch to warm and serve.

Notes

Want to lighten it up? Swap the heavy cream for half-and-half or use almond milk and coconut cream to go dairy-free. For extra fun, top it off with whipped cream, mini marshmallows, candy canes, or chocolate drizzle. Trust me—this cozy drink is a total crowd-pleaser.
