  • 2 cucumbers 2 cucumbers, thinly sliced

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon sugar

Spices

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh dill for garnish (optional)

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers and onions.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the sour cream, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Pour the dressing over the cucumber and onion mixture.
  • Toss gently to coat every slice with the dressing.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld, then garnish with fresh dill if desired.

Notes

Use thin slices for a light texture. Chill for at least 30 minutes for best flavor development.
