Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz tequila Blanco for crisp, reposado for warmth
  • 1 oz orange liqueur Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz pumpkin spice syrup homemade or store-bought
  • 1/2 oz agave syrup or honey
  • Ice
  • Cinnamon sugar mix for rimming
  • Lime wedge and cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Mix cinnamon and sugar on a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a glass, then dip it in the mixture to coat.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, pumpkin spice syrup, and agave. Add ice.
  • Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until chilled and well combined.
  • Strain into the prepared glass filled with ice.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge and cinnamon stick before serving.

Notes

For a homemade touch, make your own pumpkin spice syrup by simmering 1/2 cup pumpkin puree, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for 5–10 minutes. Strain, cool, and store in the fridge for up to two weeks. Try making a frozen version by blending everything with ice until slushy.
