Ingredients

  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies approximately 36 cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar optional
  • 2 cups pink candy melts or any color of choice
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by crushing in a sealed bag with a rolling pin.
  • Mix the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese in a large bowl until a thick dough forms; add powdered sugar for extra sweetness if desired.
  • Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and freeze for 20-30 minutes until firm.
  • Melt the pink candy melts with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth and allowing to cool slightly.
  • Dip each ball into the melted coating, letting excess drip off, and add sprinkles while the coating is wet.
  • Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to set the coating before serving.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing. Aim for uniform ball sizes for even setting and presentation. Freezing the balls before dipping is crucial to maintain their shape. Customize colors and decorations for different occasions.
