Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf soft sandwich bread white or wheat
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Thinly sliced ham or turkey
  • Sliced cheddar or provolone
  • Baby spinach or arugula
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: goat cheese hummus, pepper jack, fig jam, cranberry sauce, roasted veggies

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  • Lay out bread slices and spread the mixture evenly on one side of each slice.
  • Layer with ham or turkey, cheese, and greens. Top with another slice of bread and press gently.
  • Trim crusts if desired and cut each sandwich into four small squares, triangles, or circles.
  • Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving for the best flavor and texture.
