Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • cup chocolate protein powder
  • ½ cup peanut butter (preferably creamy)
  • 3 tablespoons honey Substitute with maple syrup for a vegan option.
  • 3 teaspoons water Add gradually to achieve desired consistency.

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix thoroughly. Adjust consistency with water if needed.
  • Form the mixture into balls about 1 to 1½ inches in diameter.
  • Arrange the balls on a lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 20 minutes to firm up.
  • Transfer to an airtight container for storage.

Notes

To make the recipe vegan, substitute honey with maple syrup or agave and use a vegan protein powder. Store in the refrigerator for 9-10 days or freeze for 2-3 months.
