Wrapped in golden pastry bandages with edible eyes peeking out, these Halloween Mummy Hotdogs are spooky-cute, slightly crispy, and ridiculously easy to make. Perfect for parties, kids' lunches, or a festive October treat  these little mummies disappear fast!

Ingredients
  

  • 8 hot dogs beef, veggie, or turkey
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry or crescent dough
  • 1 egg optional, for egg wash
  • Candy eyes black olives, or mustard for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the dough into long, skinny strips to create mummy bandages.
  • Wrap each hot dog with the dough strips, leaving a small gap for the face.
  • Brush with beaten egg if using, for a golden finish.
  • Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 13–15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly, then add eyes using mustard dots, black olives, or candy eyes.

Notes

Make them ahead of time and refrigerate unbaked for up to 24 hours. Always add eyes after baking to avoid melting. Serve with ketchup, mustard, or guacamole for fun spooky dips!
