Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies finely crushed
  • 6 tablespoons butter melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • Purple food coloring
  • 1 package orange gelatin 3 oz
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding 3.4 oz
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • Green food coloring
  • Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Mix with melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 dish. Chill while preparing the layers.
  • Dissolve orange gelatin in boiling water. Let cool slightly before combining with the pudding mix.
  • Whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Stir in the orange gelatin mixture and chill until it starts to thicken.
  • Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until fluffy. Fold in whipped topping, then tint with purple food coloring. Spread evenly over the cookie crust.
  • Pour the orange pudding mixture over the purple cream cheese layer. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Tint the remaining whipped topping with green food coloring. Spread gently over the orange layer.
  • Sprinkle with festive Halloween sprinkles, then cover and chill for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.

Notes

Try swapping the crust with graham crackers or ginger snaps, or stir in chopped candy bars for an extra treat. Use a hot knife for clean slices, and make sure your cream cheese is soft for the smoothest texture.
