Equipment

  • pot
  • bowl
  • knife
  • cutting board

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp banana pepper juice (from the jar)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/3 cup banana pepper rings
  • 1/4 medium red onion or to taste
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 5 ounces salami
  • 6 ounces deli turkey breast
  • 8 ounces sliced provolone cheese
  • 1 pound rotini pasta

Instructions

  • Cook the rotini pasta in boiling water until al dente, then drain and rinse with cold water.
  • Mix mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, banana pepper juice, garlic powder, and oregano in a small bowl until smooth.
  • Cut the provolone cheese, turkey, and salami into bite-sized pieces, and slice the red onion and cherry tomatoes.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, meats, cheese, red onion, cherry tomatoes, and banana pepper rings.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad and mix until evenly coated; serve immediately or refrigerate.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For a dairy-free option, omit the provolone cheese or use a dairy-free alternative. You can substitute banana pepper juice with pickle juice or extra red wine vinegar for similar tanginess. Feel free to customize the meats and cheeses based on personal preference.
