Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter (slightly softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup Valentine’s Day M&M’s
  • 7 cookies Oreo cookies (roughly chopped) regular stuffed, not double stuffed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix the butter and both sugars in a bowl until smooth.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, blending until well combined.
  • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in the M&M’s and Oreo pieces, then scoop out dough into 10 cookies.
  • Bake for 13 minutes, allowing them to remain slightly underbaked in the center.
  • Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds to restore softness. For freezing, place cookies in an airtight container or freezer bag for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight or microwave briefly before consuming. To prevent cookies from spreading too much, ensure proper flour measurement and avoid using double stuffed Oreos. For gluten-free cookies, substitute with 1:1 gluten-free flour and gluten-free Oreos.
