Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 1 small head green cabbage, chopped
  • 14 ounce can petite diced tomatoes
  • 6 ounce can tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until slightly pink, then drain excess fat.
  • Add diced onion and seasonings to the skillet, cooking until the onions soften.
  • Transfer the meat mixture to the slow cooker and add chopped cabbage.
  • Mix diced tomatoes, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and water in a bowl, then pour over the meat and cabbage.
  • Stir gently to combine, cover, and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. For freezing, place cooled portions in freezer-safe containers or bags and use within 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 20-30 minutes, in the microwave for 2-3 minutes, or on the stovetop over medium heat until warmed through.
