Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/8 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion
  • 1 cup diced tomato
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini
  • 1/2 cup diced provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped salami
  • 1/2 cup chopped deli turkey

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix together mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes until well combined.
  • Add sliced red onion, pepperoncini, diced tomatoes, provolone cheese, salami, turkey, and chopped lettuce, then toss everything together to coat with the dressing.

Notes

For a grinder salad sandwich, toast a hoagie roll and fill it with the salad mixture. Add the dressing just before serving for best results. Omit red pepper flakes if you prefer a milder flavor. Chop ingredients into smaller pieces for easier eating.
