Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups thinly sliced cucumbers
  • 1 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Thinly slice the red onion and cucumbers, then pat the cucumbers dry to remove moisture.
  • In a bowl, mix sour cream, white vinegar, dill, sugar, salt, and garlic powder until combined.
  • Add the sliced cucumbers and red onion to the dressing, tossing gently to coat.
  • Garnish with extra dill and black pepper, then serve immediately or refrigerate before serving.

Notes

For optimal flavor, prepare the salad at least 1 hour ahead and refrigerate. Store sliced vegetables separately and mix with dressing just before serving. The salad can be kept in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
