Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons salted butter plus extra for greasing the pan
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 12 ounces mini marshmallows approximately 7 1/2 cups
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar for cinnamon sugar topping
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon for cinnamon sugar topping

Instructions
 

  • Grease an 8×8" baking pan with butter and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix the Rice Krispies with cinnamon and set aside.
  • Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat, then add marshmallows and stir until nearly melted.
  • Remove from heat and mix in the cereal until well coated.
  • Press the mixture into the greased pan using a buttered spatula, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and let cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

For a gooey texture, leave some marshmallows partially melted. Use a spatula to prevent sticking when pressing the mixture into the pan.
