Ingredients
  

  • 20 pieces hollow chocolate eggs
  • 1 cup chilled milk Chill before use for best results.
  • 1 box instant chocolate pudding (3.9 ounces)
  • 1 tub thawed whipped topping (8 ounces) Use thawed for easier mixing.

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together chilled milk and instant chocolate pudding in a large bowl until thick and well blended.
  • Fold in the whipped topping until fully combined, then refrigerate for about an hour to set.
  • Prepare hollow chocolate eggs by cutting off about half an inch from the top using a hot knife.
  • Fill each hollow egg with the chilled mousse using a piping bag.
  • Optionally, decorate with mini eggs, chocolate shavings, or Easter sprinkles before serving.

Notes

Store the chocolate mousse-filled eggs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Do not freeze the mousse, as it will separate upon thawing. Chill milk and whipped topping before use for best results.
