  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

  • Wash and slice the zucchinis into rounds or half-moons about 1/4-inch thick.
  • In a bowl, toss the zucchini slices with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned zucchini in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding.
  • Cook for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the zucchini is tender and slightly crispy.
  • If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

Don't overcrowd the basket; cook in batches for the crispiest results. Cut zucchini uniformly so pieces cook evenly. Adjust time by thickness—thinner slices need less time. Reheat leftovers in the air fryer for a minute or two to restore crispness. For a full sandwich pairing, try an air fryer grilled cheese sandwich on the side.
