Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 ½ cups salted butter (softened)
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 ¾ cups brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips
  • 22 Oreos
  • 5-6 oz liquid red food coloring (2 bottles)

Instructions
 

  • Beat softened butter until airy, then mix in sugars, eggs, vanilla, and red food coloring until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt, then combine with the wet ingredients until well mixed.
  • Crush 6 Oreos and break the remaining into chunks, then fold them along with white chocolate chips into the batter.
  • Scoop and roll the dough into balls, yielding about 20 cookies.
  • Arrange the cookie balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, pressing them down slightly.
  • Chill the cookies in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before baking.
  • Bake at 375°F for 12 minutes and allow to cool before serving.

Notes

To soften butter quickly, microwave it for 5 seconds on each side. Use a stand mixer with a beater attachment for wet ingredients, then switch to a whisk for dry ingredients. Always use parchment paper to prevent sticking, and chilling the dough is crucial for thicker, chewier cookies.
