Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cut the zucchinis into fry shapes, about 3 inches long and 1/2 inch thick.
  • In a bowl, toss the zucchini fries with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • If using, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the zucchini and toss gently.

Cooking

  • Arrange the seasoned zucchini fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  • Cook for about 10–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Serving

  • Remove from the air fryer and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
  • Serve warm alongside your favorite grilled meals.

Notes

Pat zucchini dry before tossing to help them crisp better. Don't overcrowd the basket — cook in batches for maximum crunch. Adjust cook time based on thickness; thinner fries need less time. Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 3–5 minutes to restore crispness. For variety, serve alongside air fryer crispy mini blooming onions as an extra snack.
