Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Rinse and drain the garbanzo beans, then dry them thoroughly with a paper towel.
  • In a bowl, toss the chickpeas with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they are crispy.
  • Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make sure to dry the chickpeas well; moisture can hinder crispiness. For extra flavor, marinate the chickpeas in spices for a few minutes before cooking. Shake the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days for optimal freshness. If you prefer them extra crispy, extend the cooking time by a few minutes.
