Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (or to taste)
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Spices

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, lime juice, salt, and pepper to create the bang bang sauce.
  • Thread the chicken cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between pieces for even cooking.

Grilling

  • Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Grill the skewers for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches 165°F.
  • Brush the skewers with some of the bang bang sauce while grilling and reserve extra sauce for serving.

Serving

  • Serve the skewers warm with extra sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

Pound chicken pieces to even thickness so they cook evenly. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning. Brush sauce on near the end to avoid burning the sugars in the chili sauce.
