Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup salsa
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 10 small flour or corn tortillas
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for brushing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  • Spoon 2–3 tablespoons of the mixture onto each tortilla, roll tightly, and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  • Lightly coat the tops with olive oil or cooking spray and bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Serve warm with dips like sour cream, guacamole, or additional salsa.

Notes

Warm tortillas slightly in the microwave before rolling to avoid tearing. These taquitos can be assembled in advance and frozen; bake directly from the freezer, adding 5 extra minutes to the baking time. Using rotisserie chicken can save time. For added spice, consider including diced jalapeños or black beans for more substance.
