Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of brie about 8 ounces
  • 3 tablespoons fig jam
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry optional, for a wrapped version
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish (optional)
  • Crackers apple slices, or baguette for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a small baking dish or sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • Place brie wheel on parchment.
  • Spread fig jam generously on top of the brie.
  • Sprinkle chopped pecans over the jam.
  • If using puff pastry, wrap the brie completely and seal edges, brushing with egg wash if desired.
  • Bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes until gooey and golden.
  • Let rest 5 minutes before serving to avoid cheese spilling out.
  • Transfer to platter, drizzle with honey if using, garnish with herbs.
  • Serve with sliced baguette, crackers, or apple wedges.

Notes

Try walnuts or candied pecans. Swap fig jam for apricot, peach, or cranberry. Add cinnamon or rosemary for warmth. Don’t skip parchment for easy cleanup. Best enjoyed warm, and reheats like a dream.
