Apple Cider Sangria

Ely
As soon as that crisp autumn breeze hits, all I want is a drink that feels like fall in a glass. This apple cider sangria is fizzy, fruity, and totally made for sweater weather. Whether you're hosting friends or just cozying up at home, this pitcher-style mocktail is going to be your new go-to.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups sparkling apple juice or apple soda
  • 1 large apple diced (Honeycrisp or Pink Lady)
  • 1 orange sliced thinly
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Optional: cinnamon-sugar rim rosemary sprig, star anise, splash of maple syrup

Instructions

  • Dice the apple and slice the orange, then toss them into a large pitcher.
  • Pour in the orange juice and lemon juice.
  • Add cinnamon sticks and give everything a gentle stir.
  • Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  • Add the sparkling apple juice just before serving.
  • Pour into glasses filled with fruit and enjoy with a garnish if you’re feeling festive.

Notes

Use cold ingredients for maximum fizz. Add the bubbly apple juice just before serving to keep things fresh. Cut the fruit small for easy pouring. Chill at least 30 minutes to draw out the cinnamon. For a fun twist, try a cinnamon-sugar rim or a splash of maple syrup!
