Ingredients
  

Chips

  • 1 bag Tortilla chips

Cheese

  • 2 cups Shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Mexican blend) Use your favorite cheese blend.

Optional Proteins

  • 1 cup Refried beans Optional for added protein.

Veggies

  • 1/2 cup Jalapeños (sliced) Adjust quantity based on spice preference.
  • 1 cup Tomatoes (diced)
  • 1/4 cup Green onions (sliced)

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup Sour cream For serving.
  • 1/2 cup Guacamole For serving.
  • 1/4 cup Chopped cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Arrange a layer of tortilla chips in the air fryer basket.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over the chips and add any optional toppings like refried beans and jalapeños.

Cooking

  • Cook in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Carefully remove and top with diced tomatoes, green onions, sour cream, guacamole, and cilantro.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket; this ensures even cooking. Adjust cook time depending on the thickness of your cheese. If making in batches, keep the first batch warm in the oven at low heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container, but enjoy them fresh for the best taste. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain their crispness.
