Ingredients
  

Bread and Eggs

  • 1 slice slice of bread Use slightly thicker bread to avoid sogginess.
  • 1 egg egg Crack gently to ensure yolk stays intact.

Cheese

  • 1 slice slice of cheese (cheddar, American, or your favorite) Feel free to substitute with a dairy-free cheese.

Optional Toppings

  • Avocado slices, baby spinach, sliced tomato, cooked bacon, hot sauce Customize based on preference.

Seasoning

  • to taste Salt and pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the slice of bread in the air fryer basket flat or on a small piece of foil for easier cleanup.
  • Crack the egg gently on top of the bread so it sits in the center.
  • Add the slice of cheese on top of the egg, covering it lightly.

Cooking

  • Cook for about 5–7 minutes, checking at 5 minutes for a runny yolk or 7 minutes for a firmer yolk.
  • Add any optional toppings if desired, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your breakfast!

Notes

Watch cooking time closely; air fryers vary, so check at 5 minutes to avoid overcooking. Let the toast rest 30 seconds before lifting so the egg sets just enough.
