Preparation

  • Carefully peel, core, and cut the fresh pineapple into rings or chunks, depending on your preference.
  • Toss the pineapple pieces with 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon in a bowl if you’d like extra sweetness and caramelization.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for 3–5 minutes so it reaches even heat.
  • Arrange the pineapple pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overlap for even browning.
  • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping the pineapple halfway through for uniform caramelization.
  • Watch closely near the end to prevent drying; remove when edges are golden and slightly charred.
