  • 2 pieces ripe bananas Use very ripe bananas for the best natural sweetness.

  • 1 cup self-rising flour

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  • Add the self-rising flour to the mashed bananas and mix until just combined—do not overmix.
  • Shape the mixture into small donut hole shapes and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Cooking

  • Cook for about 10 minutes or until golden brown and set in the center.
  • Let cool slightly before serving so they hold their shape.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for the best natural sweetness and binding. If dough seems sticky, chill briefly to make shaping easier. Store cooled donut holes in an airtight container at room temperature for 1–2 days or refrigerate for up to 4 days.
