Description

Golden, crispy, and wrapped in buttery dough — these hot dog nuggets are the kind of snack you can’t help but grab another of. Perfect for kids, game day, or anytime you need a quick, irresistible bite!


Ingredients

  • 5 regular hot dogs
  • 1 roll of crescent dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Slice hot dogs into 1/2-inch chunks.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and pinch seams together.
  4. Cut dough into 64 small rectangles (about 1.5 by 0.5 inches).
  5. Wrap each hot dog piece with a dough rectangle.
  6. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8–9 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm and watch them disappear.
  9. Air Fryer Option: No preheating needed. Line basket with parchment, cook at 325°F for 3–4 minutes, flip, then another 3–4 minutes.

Notes

Try adding a mini slice of cheddar inside each wrap or use puff pastry or mini smokies for variety. Keep warm in a crockpot with a paper towel on the bottom. Make ahead and refrigerate, or freeze after baking and reheat at 400°F for 10 minutes.
