Description

These Halloween Rice Krispie Treats are crunchy, gooey, and dressed up in spooky costumes with candy melts, sprinkles, and candy eyes. Perfect for parties, kids, and last-minute festive fun!

Ingredients

Scale

6 cups Rice Krispies cereal 4 cups mini marshmallows (fresh is best) 3 tablespoons butter Candy melts (green, orange, purple, or black) Candy eyes Assorted Halloween sprinkles Mini M&M’s or small candies Icing tubes (black, white, or red for details) Optional: cookie cutters and food coloring

Instructions

Melt butter in a large pot over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until smooth. Remove from heat and fold in cereal until coated. Press mixture lightly into a greased 9×13 pan. Let cool. Cut into bars or spooky shapes using a knife or cookie cutters. Melt candy melts in the microwave in 20-second bursts. Dip or drizzle over treats. Add sprinkles, candy eyes, and icing details. Let set on parchment paper before serving.

Notes

Use fresh marshmallows for softer, chewier bars. Don’t press the mixture too firmly into the pan or they’ll be hard. Let decorated treats cool completely before stacking or wrapping. Get kids involved in decorating for extra fun and creativity.
