Description

There’s something magical about a dessert that looks spooky, tastes dreamy, and doesn’t even need the oven! This Halloween Lush is colorful, layered, and guaranteed to steal the show at your spooky bash trust me, you’ll want seconds.


Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • Purple food coloring
  • 1 package orange gelatin (3 oz)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding (3.4 oz)
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • Green food coloring
  • Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Mix with melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 dish. Chill while preparing the layers.
  2. Dissolve orange gelatin in boiling water. Let cool slightly before combining with the pudding mix.
  3. Whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Stir in the orange gelatin mixture and chill until it starts to thicken.
  4. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until fluffy. Fold in whipped topping, then tint with purple food coloring. Spread evenly over the cookie crust.
  5. Pour the orange pudding mixture over the purple cream cheese layer. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Tint the remaining whipped topping with green food coloring. Spread gently over the orange layer.
  7. Sprinkle with festive Halloween sprinkles, then cover and chill for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
