Description

There’s something irresistible about that first crunchy bite of sweet apple chips fresh from the air fryer. The warm cinnamon aroma wraps around you like a cozy blanket, and suddenly you’ve got a healthy snack ready in minutes. These Air Fryer Apple Chips are light, crisp, and just the right mix of sweet and spiced.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large crisp apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji work best)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry apples. Core them and slice thinly using a mandoline or sharp knife.
  2. Lay slices on a tray and lightly dust with cinnamon and nutmeg if using. Flip and season the other side.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 300°F. Arrange slices in a single layer in the basket.
  4. Cook for 10–14 minutes, flipping halfway. Watch closely at the end as thin slices crisp quickly.
  5. Let cool for a few minutes before serving to achieve maximum crunch.

Notes

Slice apples evenly for consistent crispness. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket or they will steam. Store fully cooled chips in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Variations include swapping cinnamon for pumpkin pie spice, drizzling with honey before air frying, or using pears for a fun twist.
